"But sometimes, I'd rather have a huge wild forest in between us, that we could imagine each other through rustling leaves."

This is a landscape design project aiming to transform the city experience around an underground passageway at the northern part of the 4th Ring Road in Beijing.

The things taken into consideration include the well-being of different kinds of people and plants, microclimate, structural feasibility, transportation system, specifications and requirements etc.

"Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody."

The consciousness of a city.

The mood of a tree.
